Cameron Gearen is a Chicago-based singer-songwriter working in Americana/roots with overtones of mountain blues, gospel, alt-country, and folk. She plays rhythm guitar and writes songs that explore contemporary themes such as friendship, family, identity, and other human struggles. She’s also an award-winning poet with three published poetry collections out, as well as a well-published essayist. She lives outside of Chicago with her husband. Cameron loves travel, reading, and seeing live music.
